How we work
Calm, considered, in the room.
Events are made up of a hundred small moments; the applause of an introduction, the embrace of a reunion, the immersion of an audience member.
We aim to strike a balance between:
1. Disappearing into the rhythm of the day allowing moments to unfold naturally, and capturing them discreetly.
2. Orchestrating crucial moments such as group photos, backdrop photos, press headshots of key attendees.
Selection and edit matter as much as the shoot. We deliver tight, considered, and cohesive galleries not 800 raw files. Each frame is chosen because it's doing work; telling a part of the day, or standing up on its own as an engaging image.
Our name Kaizen is a Japanese word translating into "continuous, incremental improvement". Every event teaches us something we use the next time: a better angle from a particular stage layout, a faster turnaround routine, an insight for a particular industry. Our studio gets a little sharper, shoot by shoot, and we pride ourselves in developing a relationship with repeat clients and gaining an understanding of their taste and requirements.

London, UK-wide, worldwide.
We're born and based in London, and most of our work is here, from City conferences to Shoreditch shindigs. We travel UK-wide at cost; Manchester, Edinburgh, Bristol, anywhere the brief needs us. For larger productions we also work internationally where possible.
